Contract Management Analyst – Financial Data & Technology

We are looking for a Contract Management Analyst – Financial Data & Technology to support the management of vendor contracts, renewals and commercial records within a leading investment-management environment.

This is a contract-management and vendor-governance role, with a strong focus on financial data, research, software and technology providers. You will help manage agreements throughout their lifecycle, coordinate internal approval workflows, maintain accurate contract records and ensure renewals and commercial obligations are identified and handled in a timely manner.

You will work closely with stakeholders across data, finance, legal, compliance and technology, while also communicating directly with external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain vendor agreements throughout their lifecycle, including new contracts, amendments, renewals and terminations.
  • Coordinate contracts through internal legal, finance, compliance and business approval processes.
  • Maintain accurate contract and vendor information within CLM, Workday, DocuSign, Excel and related systems.
  • Track key contractual information including renewal dates, notice periods, pricing, currencies, legal entities, products and commercial terms.
  • Help ensure upcoming renewals are identified and progressed well in advance of contractual deadlines.
  • Support the management of financial data, research, software and technology vendors.
  • Reconcile contractual commitments against budgets, invoices, user populations and internal records.
  • Ensure executed agreements and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and properly stored.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve missing information and progress outstanding actions.
  • Produce reporting on contracts, renewals, vendor spend and outstanding workflow items.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, accurate and comfortable working with contracts, financial information and structured processes.

You do not need extensive procurement experience. Relevant backgrounds may include:

  • Contract management or contract administration
  • Vendor management
  • Legal operations or commercial operations
  • Financial services operations
  • Market data or financial data administration
  • Technology sourcing or procurement
  • CLM administration

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Experience within an investment manager, bank, hedge fund, asset manager, financial-data provider, fintech or financial-services technology environment would be particularly relevant.

Strong attention to detail is essential. The successful candidate will be comfortable checking dates, currencies, contractual terms and system records carefully, asking questions when information is unclear and following defined processes consistently.

Experience with CLM systems, DocuSign, Workday and Excel is desirable.

This role is best suited to candidates interested in financial services, contracts, vendor management and commercial operations. Applicants whose experience is primarily in retail purchasing, warehouse operations, logistics or physical supply-chain management are unlikely to be a fit.

The role is based in London and requires four days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in contract management, vendor management, legal operations, financial services operations, technology sourcing, procurement or a related field.
  • Experience working within financial services, investment management, banking, fintech, financial data, market data or financial-services technology is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the contract lifecycle, including new agreements, amendments, renewals, notice periods, approvals and executed documentation.
  • Experience maintaining accurate information within contract management, vendor management or workflow systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and confidence working with financial and commercial information.
  • Experience with CLM platforms, DocuSign or Workday is desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing dates, currencies, pricing, legal entities, contractual terms and system records.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts, renewals and outstanding actions simultaneously.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate directly with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification rather than making assumptions when information is incomplete or unclear.
  • Able to follow established processes consistently while remaining adaptable to new systems, workflows and ways of working.
  • Professional, dependable and comfortable operating in a highly regulated investment-management environment.
  • Willing and able to work four days per week in the London office.
