Contract Management Lead – Corporate Services

Day rate contract
London

A not-for-profit housing business is hiring for a Contract Management Lead to build a clear, practical framework for how they manage suppliers across Corporate Services (Finance, HR, Transformation and more). You'll design the processes, governance and tools, then hand it all over before you go. This role supports a wider programme targeting value improvement across a supplier spend of £100m–£140m.

What You'll Do

  • Review suppliers and sort them into clear tiers by risk and importance
  • Build simple end-to-end processes for managing suppliers, from onboarding to renewal and exit
  • Set up governance: who owns what, who reviews what, and how issues get escalated
  • Create practical tools — scorecards, dashboards, templates
  • Win buy-in through workshops and presentations, from execs to day-to-day users
  • Spot savings opportunities and track the benefits delivered
  • Document everything clearly so it lasts after you leave

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience in contract and supplier management
  • Comfortable designing governance frameworks from scratch
  • Strong communicator, confident with senior stakeholders
  • Used to working through influence, not authority
  • Track record of contributing to savings or value targets
