Contract Management Specialist
Overview
As a Contract Management Specialist, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of key customer contracts throughout their lifecycle. From overseeing commercial performance and managing contractual changes to ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for growth, you'll play a critical role in maximising contract value and delivering successful outcomes for our customers.
You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Operational teams to ensure contracts are effectively governed, commercially optimised, and aligned to business objectives.
Location
Hybrid working, with flexibility to travel to our Winchester and London offices as required.

Plus, you'll play an integral role in protecting and maximising the commercial value of Arqiva's customer contracts, helping ensure we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the end-to-end commercial performance of customer contracts, supporting them from in-life management through to renewal, extension, or termination.
- Monitor contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring commitments are tracked and fulfilled.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contractual terms and variations to protect Arqiva's commercial interests.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, including audit trails, conformance records, and asset registers.
- Act as a key link between Commercial and Finance teams, supporting pricing governance and commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with Legal teams to ensure contractual compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Evaluate commercial impacts of customer-driven and internal contract changes.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks, implementing effective risk management controls.
- Support contract conformance activities, coordinating with internal and external legal partners where required.
- Design and maintain pricing models, commercial scenarios, and change-response mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance contract value through contract variations, commercial improvements, and upselling opportunities.
- Support supplier negotiations to deliver commercially robust and value-driven solutions.
- Facilitate contract governance forums, ensuring appropriate oversight, compliance, and strategic alignment.
- Manage commercial disputes and support mutually beneficial outcomes for both Arqiva and its customers.
- Drive continuous improvement across commercial and contract management processes.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in contract management, commercial management, or a related commercial discipline.
- Proven ability to manage complex commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to assess financial impacts and identify opportunities to maximise value.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contractual agreements and managing contractual change.
- Strong understanding of commercial risk management, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, using data and insight to support decision-making.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operational teams to deliver commercial outcomes.
- Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
