Contract Manager – Renewable Energy
North East England | Circa £58,000
We are recruiting for a Contract Manager to join a leading organisation operating within the renewable energy sector.
Working as part of the Asset Operations function, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of key suppliers, contracts and framework agreements across a portfolio of operational renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key supplier contracts and framework agreements
- Monitor supplier performance, KPIs and contractual obligations
- Manage commercial claims, disputes, variations and warranty claims
- Lead supplier meetings and commercial negotiations
- Manage contract administration, payments and cost reporting
- Support the management of O&M and OEM service agreements
- Identify opportunities to maximise commercial value from existing contracts
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Legal and other internal stakeholders

Key Requirements
- Strong experience within contract or commercial management
- Proven experience managing third-party suppliers and contractors
- Experience within an engineering or industrial operational environment
- Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing claims, disputes and contract variations
- Good understanding of contract terms, cost control and supplier performance
- Experience within renewable energy, power generation or utilities would be highly advantageous
- O&M/OEM contract experience would be beneficial
- MCIPS, MRICS or a relevant commercial/supply chain qualification would be advantageous
