We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our growing Scotland team!

The Contract Manager is responsible for the management of contracts & the staff who carry out these works, while maximising the operational output of the operational field staff. Also responsible for the delivery of works, driving financial proficiency, and client relationship management across a portfolio of contracts, including assisting of the centralized planning team with operational output.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Contract Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop, promote, and maintain a proactive safety culture to deliver excellent Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) performance. Carrying out regular site visits & inspections for staff under your remit, with a minimum of 2 site visits per week & 4 inspections per month.
  • Take overall accountability for operational outcomes within the assigned contracts.
  • Lead resource and workforce to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery, providing regular updates to the relevant people throughout job life cycles.
  • Manage the operational delivery team to ensure works are delivered in line with TCQ (Time, Cost, Quality) targets.
  • Monitor contract performance against KPIs and contractual obligations; implement corrective action plans where necessary.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client representatives, acting as the main point of contact for escalations and service delivery.
  • Lead and manage the supply chain, ensuring subcontractor performance supports contract objectives.
  • Contract Managers are required to work from both depots in Scotland when required.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, you’ll bring previous experience in a similar role, a safety-focused approach to work as well as:

  • Previous experience in a Contract Management, Operations Management, or Senior Project Management role.
