Contract Manager (Build / Fit-Out)

Belfast | £60,000 - £80,000

Description

We are hiring for our client, a growing construction business with a strong pipeline of projects across Belfast and Northern Ireland, for an experienced Contract Manager to join their team. This Contract Manager role offers genuine autonomy, giving the successful Contract Manager ownership of the entire lifecycle of business agreements - from contract drafting and negotiation through to regulatory compliance. It's an excellent opportunity for a Contract Manager to take real ownership of project delivery within a well-established and expanding organisation.

The Role

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, from drafting through to close-out
  • Negotiate contracts and manage costs across live construction projects
  • Safeguard commercial interests and manage risk on behalf of the business
  • Work closely with clients, quantity surveyors, project managers, and senior stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with JCT/NEC contract terms and construction law
  • Monitor site health & safety standards and regulatory compliance

The Person

  • 5+ years' experience as a Contract Manager / Project Manager
  • MSc or degree educated in a construction-related discipline
  • Proficient in JCT/NEC contracts and construction law
  • Strong Excel skills, commercial risk analysis, and negotiation ability
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
  • Full UK driving licence
