Role Description
The Contract Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The role is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle for construction and landscaping projects, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. The Contract Manager ensures compliance with legal, commercial, and regulatory requirements, monitors contract performance, manages variations and claims, and supports project teams in resolving contractual issues.
The role involves close collaboration with project managers, finance, procurement, and senior leadership to mitigate risk, protect company interests, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. The Contract Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement of contract templates, processes, and documentation standards to support Eco Garden Construct London’s operational efficiency and project success.

- Strong contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering construction-related contracts.
- Experience with project coordination and stakeholder management within construction, landscaping, or related industries.
- Ability to interpret legal and commercial terms, assess risk, and ensure compliance with relevant UK regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools and contract management systems to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to explain contractual matters clearly.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Relevant professional experience in contract management; background in construction, civil engineering, or quantity surveying is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Law, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Professional certifications in contract management, procurement, or project management (e.g., IACCM/WorldCC, CIPS, or similar) are an asset.
