About the Role
At Sharpsmart, we are looking for a commercially minded Contract Manager to own a portfolio of healthcare customer accounts and play a critical role in our growth strategy. This is not a traditional account management role. We are looking for someone who can build influential senior stakeholder relationships, clearly demonstrate value, drive retention, identify growth opportunities and become a trusted partner to our customers.
As Contract Manager, you will manage customer contracts throughout their lifecycle—from mobilisation and day-to-day performance management to review, renewal and continuous improvement. You will work closely with customers and internal operational teams to ensure contractual commitments are understood, delivered and evidenced.
This is a varied role requiring strong commercial judgement, excellent stakeholder management and a practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving issues before they affect customer experience or contract performance.
If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes, improving commercial performance and building long-term partnerships, we would love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
