We are working on behalf of a well-established main contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of refurbishment projects across schools, industrial, office, and healthcare environments.
This is a key role within the business, offering autonomy, variety, and long-term stability with a contractor known for repeat business and strong client relationships.
The Role:
- Managing 2–5 live refurbishment projects concurrently
- Project values typically ranging from £1m to £5m
- Full responsibility from pre-construction handover through to completion
- Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain performance
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
- Maintaining strong client relationships, particularly in live and occupied environments
- Regular reporting to senior management

The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a main contractor
- Strong background in refurbishment / fit-out projects
- Experience working in education, healthcare, commercial or industrial sectors
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme control
- Strong leadership and communication skills

Salary on Offer:
- Salary up to £90,000 + car / allowance
