Consilium Contracting Services Ltd is a multi-trade and electrical contractor providing 24/7 reactive and planned maintenance services, primarily within the public sector and social housing environments across Scotland. Consilium works closely with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and private homeowners to deliver essential repairs, maintenance, void property services, compliance, and refurbishment works. Role Description

As a Contract Manager, you will work on our Social Housing R&M/Voids frameworks and also deliver ad-hoc projects, whilst managing the multi-trade team of operatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all frameworks and ad hoc projects adhere to the required standards of health and safety, quality, and commercial performance.
  • Effectively managing each customer relationship and ensuring we maintain required KPIs on all the frameworks (KPI attainment is an essential part of the role, as is managing the financial budget for each framework/ad hoc project).
  • Managing and controlling the operatives/resources in your remit, being able to manage day-to-day resources and movements is essential.
  • Given an expected Sales budget for each framework that you are required to maintain monthly and deliver, ensuring all resources aligned within each framework budget are accurately managed, changes in budget require you to ensure you act to maintain the profit for that framework.
  • Building on existing relationships with our customers, identifying opportunities for additional work streams and projects, managing the workforce, solving problems, and maintaining a productive and positive team environment on site.

Qualifications

  • Must be from a trade background.
  • Experience in contract management or project management within social housing, or public sector.
  • Strong skills in programming/delivering jobs, HSE, Commercial management including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of compliance, health and safety regulations, and industry standards essential.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate the multi-disciplinary resources is essential.
  • Excellent communication, and problem solving abilities, with attention to strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using the full Microsoft Office suite and job management systems (simPRO is Consilium portal), and interact with customer own portals.
  • Relevant trade or professional qualifications critical.
  • MUST have experience working with housing associations, local authorities, or public sector.
