Contract Manager

Location: Scotland

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager – IT & Telco to join a busy Procurement & Commercial team, supporting a portfolio of IT programmes and projects. This role will focus on contract management, commercial negotiations, supplier performance and providing pragmatic commercial guidance to IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IT and Telecoms contracts across a varied and complex supplier landscape.
  • Support sourcing activity, commercial negotiations and contract administration.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contractual agreements and commercial terms.
  • Manage supplier performance and ensure contractual commitments are delivered.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal IT stakeholders.
  • Provide commercial and contractual guidance across IT programmes and projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve value, efficiency and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong experience managing IT and/or Telecoms contracts.
  • Proven contract management and commercial negotiation experience.
  • Experience working with suppliers across a complex IT or technology environment.
  • Strong contractual drafting, interpretation and commercial skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and performance.
  • A commercially focused, proactive and solutions-driven approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience within a large, complex organisation or regulated environment would be beneficial.
