Contract Manager
📍 Location: London or Manchester – 2 days per week in the office
💰 Salary:
- London: £70,000–£84,000 DOE
- Manchester: £67,000–£74,000 DOE
🚗 10% car allowance
🎯 Up to 20% bonus

I'm currently recruiting for an exciting Contract Manager opportunity with a major organisation operating within the UK energy and infrastructure sector.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of large, complex, and high-value supplier contracts, helping to manage commercial performance, reduce risk, and make sure the organisation gets the best possible value from its suppliers.
The Role
You will manage several major supplier contracts, some worth £20m+, and will be responsible for the contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex supplier contracts and ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Leading contract negotiations, renewals, extensions, and changes
- Managing commercial and contractual disputes
- Managing financial forecasting and contract budgets
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve value for money
- Monitoring supplier performance and managing risks
- Making sure contracts are properly documented and compliant
- Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ensuring contract governance and reporting requirements are met
- Supporting major projects and changes across the supplier portfolio

You should also be commercially minded, confident negotiating with suppliers, and comfortable taking ownership of contracts and resolving issues.
The Opportunity
This is a particularly interesting role for someone who enjoys owning contracts end-to-end, rather than simply administering them. You'll have the opportunity to influence commercial strategy, negotiate significant contract changes, and help drive cost savings, performance, and value for money across a critical supplier base.
