Contract Manager
Macclesfield - Agile - offering a mix of office and home working
Salary: £44,530 per annum
Full Time, Permanent - 37 hours per week
We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.
About the Role
We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our team. The main duties of the role will be to ensure the quality of housing stock meets required legislative standards through the management of consultants and contractors to deliver programs of work. You will also be engaging with tenants to ensure the smooth delivery of required works in terms of time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of housing stock meets required legislative standards
- Manage consultants and contractors to deliver programs of work
- Engage with tenants for the smooth delivery of required works
- Conduct inspections and audits
- Produce specifications and service standards
Requirements
- Proven experience of managing contractors and consultants, gained within a construction, maintenance, or social housing environment
- Good operational knowledge of health and safety, specifically in relation to the building industry
