OEG is a leading energy solutions business, providing mission critical infrastructure assets and services to the global offshore energy industry. Through our specialist divisions - topside, marine, subsea, cables, logistics and industrials, we are a pivotal link in the global offshore energy project chain, ensuring our customers’ projects are delivered safely, reliably and efficiently. We are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Topside Division.

Liverpool/Grimsby/Lowestoft
Core Purpose
To lead the commercial and contractual management of OEG's Topside projects and framework agreements, ensuring contractual risk is managed, commercial opportunities are maximised and projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations. Working closely with Business Development, Project Management, Operations, Finance and Legal to support successful project delivery and long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Lead the review, negotiation and administration of client, supplier and subcontract agreements.
- Provide commercial and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle from bid to close-out.
- Identify, assess and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Support tender reviews, pricing assumptions and commercial qualifications.
- Manage contractual correspondence, variations, claims and dispute avoidance.
- Work closely with Project Managers to maximise project profitability and contractual compliance.
- Support framework agreements and strategic client negotiations.
- Develop commercial governance processes and contract templates.
- Provide expert contractual advice with minimal supervision.
- Build collaborative relationships with project teams, clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:
- Extensive contracts management experience within the offshore energy service sector.
- Offshore wind experience preferred; oil and gas service experience essential.
- Strong experience negotiating high-value commercial contracts.
- Legal qualification desirable; otherwise, significant practical contracts management experience.
- Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
- Excellent written communication and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Law, Business, Engineering or similar preferred.
- Professional qualification or equivalent experience in commercial/contracts management desirable.
