Contract Manager | £60,000–£65,000 | Midlands | Immediate Start
I’m working with a global logistics business that is looking for an experienced Contract Manager to step into a high-profile customer account at a critical point in its growth. This is not a contract administration role.
You’ll be the senior commercial and operational interface between the customer and the site, taking ownership of the contract, challenging performance, managing difficult conversations and making sure both sides are delivering what has been agreed.
The account is complex, high value and commercially important, with a demanding customer and a significant peak period approaching. You’ll need to be comfortable walking into an environment where there are competing priorities, strong personalities and plenty to get your teeth into.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We’re looking for someone who has managed complex customer relationships within a logistics, supply chain, 3PL, outsourcing or similarly operational environment.
You could come from a traditional Contract Management background, but we're equally interested in strong Operations Managers who have substantial client-facing responsibility and a good understanding of the commercial side of their operation.
What matters most is that you can operate confidently with customers, understand the detail behind a contract, analyse performance, challenge constructively and bring structure to a complex situation.
This is initially a 6-month FTC, with a genuine opportunity for the role to become permanent.
