Contract Manager - Building Solutions

We're looking for a Contract Manager to join our Building Solutions team based in Salisbury and Portsmouth.

Location:

Salisbury and Portsmouth

Hours:

40 hours per week

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our growing Building Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a secure environment, initially site-based to support team development, with the role evolving to account management as we expand our client partnerships. You'll play a key part in delivering projects valued up to £10m whilst building strong relationships with our strategic framework partners.

Responsibilities

As a Contract Manager, you'll be working within the Building Solutions team, supporting them in delivering successful projects in secure environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and overseeing project delivery, achieving operational and commercial goals through effective management of project teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing projects from pre-commencement to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
  • Taking overall responsibility for implementing health and safety policies, ensuring all employees and subcontractors comply with relevant procedures.
  • Acting as the client's first point of contact, developing excellent working relationships and identifying ongoing opportunities.
  • Mentoring and supporting site teams, sharing knowledge and experience to help others develop their skills.

Requirements

This role of Contract Manager is great for you if:

  • You have significant experience in leading delivery on construction projects, ideally within secure environments.
  • You hold a relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree level or equivalent) and professional memberships such as CIOB.
  • You possess expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions, with demonstrable experience managing project budgets and programmes.
  • You hold or are willing to obtain the necessary clearances (British Passport required, Enhanced DBS minimum, SC Clearance advantageous).
