Role Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of an established building services contractor looking to appoint an experienced M&E Contracts Manager for an immediate start, overseeing a portfolio of mechanical and electrical maintenance contracts across the South East and Kent.
This is a client-facing position with responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of multiple contracts. You will manage engineers, subcontractors and customer relationships while ensuring planned and reactive maintenance services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role:
As M&E Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of mechanical and electrical maintenance contracts
- Overseeing PPM, reactive maintenance, and additional works
- Managing mobile engineers and specialist subcontractors
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Monitoring contract budgets, costs, margins, and overall profitability
- Reviewing engineer reports and progressing remedial works
- Supporting quotations and identifying opportunities for additional works
- Ensuring contractual KPIs and service levels are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance
- Managing operational issues and acting as a senior point of escalation
- Supporting new contract mobilisation and site onboarding
- Working closely with internal scheduling, finance, and operational teams

About You
You should have:
- Previous experience managing M&E or building services maintenance contracts
- A mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
- Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of contract profitability
- Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance environments
- A good understanding of health and safety within building services
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A full UK driving licence
