🚨 WE’RE HIRING: CONTRACT MANAGER | UK
We are actively seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join a specialist UK contractor delivering projects across roofing, construction and civil engineering.
This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of contracts, manage key stakeholders and play a central role in successful project delivery.

Start Date: ASAP
Package: Base salary from £60,000 + company car + bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects from contract award through to completion and handover.
- Develop and monitor project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
- Oversee Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors across allocated projects.
- Coordinate labour, materials, plant and subcontractor requirements.
- Monitor project costs, variations, procurement and overall commercial performance.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and commercial teams to manage budgets and contractual obligations.
- Manage subcontractor appointments, performance and delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Chair and attend progress, commercial and client meetings.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Manage change control, delays, variations and programme issues.
- Support tender handovers and pre-construction planning.
- Ensure project documentation, reporting and records are maintained accurately.
- Drive projects through practical completion, snagging and final handover.

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager within construction or a related sector.
- Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have roofing experience
- Good understanding of construction programmes, commercial management and subcontractor delivery.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Experience working with common construction contracts such as JCT and/or NEC would be advantageous.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management ability.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify and manage project risk.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
