Facilities Management Contract Manager

Salary: 70K
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Management Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of hard and soft FM services across a busy commercial site in Woolwich.
This is a hands-on management role where you will lead the on-site FM team, ensure services are delivered safely and efficiently, maintain excellent client relationships, and drive operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of Facilities Management services.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the on-site FM team.
- Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance is completed to a high standard.
- Monitor and achieve agreed service levels (KPIs and SLAs).
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and operational performance.
- Oversee contractors and specialist service providers.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and statutory regulations.
- Carry out regular client meetings and provide service updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of the FM team.
- Manage small projects and coordinate planned works.
- Ensure the team has the appropriate tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Participate in the out-of-hours management rota when required.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Facilities Management Contract Manager or Facilities Manager.
- Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM services.
- Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance.
- Good understanding of CAFM systems.
- Experience managing budgets, KPIs, SLAs, and contractor performance.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
