One of the UK's Leading and Fastest Growing Specialist Tunneling Contractors
One of the UK's leading and fastest growing specialist tunneling contractors, delivering complex micro tunneling, pipe jacking, shaft construction and trenchless engineering projects across the water, energy, rail and infrastructure sectors are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their senior management team in Doncaster, supporting projects throughout the UK with a particular focus on AMP8 water sector and wider utility and infrastructure markets.
Based from head office in Doncaster with hybrid and flexible working 2/3 days a week.
Reporting to the Board of Directors
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects from contract award through to completion, driving operational excellence, programme performance, commercial success and consistently high standards across every contract.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of multiple projects.
- Drive programme performance, quality and operational excellence.
- Manage client relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Support and mentor Project Managers and site teams.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Seeking Candidates With:
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within civil engineering, tunneling or utilities.
- Any experience of shaft sinking, tunneling, trenchless construction, water, gas, major infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Commercially aware with experience working under NEC contracts (desirable).
- Passionate about developing people, improving performance and delivering outstanding project outcomes.

Competitive Salary and Benefits Package
- Competitive salary and benefits package of between £80,000 - £100,000 dependent on experience, plus package including;
- Company vehicle or allowance.
