Our Building Safety & Compliance Service
Our Building Safety & Compliance Service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Contract Manager (Electrical & Lifts) to join our ambitious team and help make a difference today.
What You'll Be Doing
As Contract Manager (Electrical & Lifts), you will lead the strategic and operational management of electrical and lift service contracts across a portfolio of approximately 55,000 properties. You will oversee high-value contracts, manage significant budgets, and ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, and customer-focused services.
You Will
- Lead the management of electrical and lift maintenance, compliance, and improvement programmes.
- Oversee approximately 30,000 annual repairs and drive continuous service improvement.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards, and emerging legislation.
- Manage contractor performance through robust KPI monitoring and contract governance.
- Provide expert technical advice to senior leaders and contribute to long-term asset investment planning.
- Lead on resilience planning and major service outage responses, ensuring business continuity and resident confidence.

You Will Have
- Extensive experience managing large-scale building services, compliance, or engineering contracts.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, statutory compliance, and asset lifecycle planning.
- Experience managing significant budgets and delivering value for money.
- A track record of driving service improvement and leading change within complex technical environments.
- Experience working within regulated environments and delivering compliance-focused solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, contractors, residents, and partners.
- The ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve excellent outcomes.

Additional Information
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- DBS: A basic DBS check is required.
- Occasional attendance outside normal office hours may be required to support service delivery and emergency response activities.
