Contract Manager – IT & Telecoms
Location: Glasgow
Working Pattern: 3 days per week onsite
Contract: Inside IR35
Rate: Up to £650 per day
We’re looking for an experienced Contract Manager – IT & Telecoms to join a collaborative Procurement & Commercial team, helping to deliver safe, sustainable and value-driven outcomes across a portfolio of IT programmes and projects.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, project teams and suppliers, you’ll provide trusted commercial expertise, build strong supplier relationships and ensure contracts are effectively managed from sourcing and negotiation through to successful delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to influence how an organisation works with its supply chain, supporting innovation, continuous improvement and long-term value creation — while keeping safety, integrity and responsible decision-making at the heart of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with IT leaders and project teams to provide pragmatic commercial and contractual guidance across a range of programmes and projects.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with suppliers, supporting safe, high-quality delivery against contractual commitments and performance objectives.
- Lead contract management activities, including sourcing support, commercial negotiations, contract administration and supplier performance management.
- Identify opportunities to improve value, sustainability and efficiency across the supply chain.
- Ensure effective governance and compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements and relevant regulatory obligations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, ethical decision-making and safe working practices.
- Support continuous improvement across commercial and contract management processes.

About You
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing IT and/or Telecoms contracts, ideally within a complex and varied supplier environment.
- Strong commercial and contractual expertise, with confidence in drafting, reviewing, interpreting and negotiating agreements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to contract management.
- A genuine commitment to safe, ethical, sustainable and responsible business practices.
