Location: Luton

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading facilities management organisation, overseeing the delivery of integrated FM services across a prestigious, multi-site education portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused and client-facing FM professional who has a proven track record of leading teams, managing contracts and delivering exceptional service standards within a complex operational environment.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational, commercial and financial performance of the contract, ensuring service excellence, statutory compliance and a first-class customer experience. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage key stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services across a multi-site estate.
  • Manage the overall operational and commercial performance of the contract.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Lead, motivate and develop on-site teams, creating a high-performing and customer-focused culture.
  • Ensure all contractual KPIs, SLAs and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
  • Hold responsibility for contract budgets, forecasting, financial reporting and cost control.
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure service quality and value for money.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory requirements and company governance.
  • Produce regular operational and financial reports and lead client review meetings.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Contract Manager, Account Manager or Senior Facilities Manager within an Integrated Facilities Management environment.
  • Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams across Hard and Soft FM services.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, P&L and contract performance.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance and operational governance.
  • Experience working within complex, multi-site environments.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
