Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Contract Manager & Project Support professional to join our team. This is a varied and exciting role which can be based at either our Appleton site or Carlisle sites. You will be primarily supporting the EDF network in Carlisle, ensuring operational resources are effectively deployed to meet daily performance targets and customer requirements.
In addition to network operations, you will play a key role in supporting our Special Operations Department, working on a range of high-profile projects across motorsport, events, logistics, and customer-focused initiatives. This position offers excellent exposure across multiple business areas and provides genuine opportunities for career development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor contract performance, renewals, and key deliverables.
- Support project managers with planning, reporting, documentation, and coordination.
- Track project timelines, resources, budgets, and actions.
- Organise meetings and maintain accurate project records.
- Liaise with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams as required.

Additional Responsibilities
- Oversee several accounts, managing vehicle movements, drivers and event logistics.
- Provide back-office support, including vehicle tracking and customer ETA updates.
- Support winter projects, including customer rebranding, staffing coordination, and operational planning.
- Assist with the planning and management of European events, concerts, exhibitions, and touring logistics.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in contract management, project coordination, logistics, or operations.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience within logistics, events, motorsport, or transport sectors would be advantageous.
- Prince 2’ or equivalent Project Management qualification is desirable.
