Zeno Contracts Ltd is a building contractor founded in 2023 and based in Cannock, delivering projects typically ranging from £500,000 to over £2,700,000. The company specializes in industrial refurbishment and dilapidations, serving a range of blue-chip clients who expect premium, reliable services. Zeno Contracts are growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team here in Cannock. Working across a range of industrial and commercial refurbishment projects, this is an exciting opportunity for a driven construction professional to take ownership of projects from start to finish.

  • Managing multiple projects from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Overseeing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Managing programmes, budgets, and project delivery.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and consultants.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining Zeno’s hands-on approach to project management and client service.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience in project financial management, including budgeting, cost control, valuations, forecasting, and managing variations and claims.
  • Proficiency in project documentation and administration, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contract records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Working knowledge of construction processes, industrial refurbishment projects, and health and safety standards relevant to site operations.
  • Competence with common business and construction software tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, project or cost management systems).
  • Relevant qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, commercial management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, reliability, and high-quality service delivery, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
