About the Opportunity
An ambitious, fast-growing catering business is seeking a Contract Manager to establish and lead a new strategic channel focused on contract catering. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the next phase of growth, building long-term revenue streams and helping the business expand into new markets.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of commercial acumen, contract catering expertise, and hands-on account management experience. This role requires someone who can both develop strategy and execute it, winning new business, managing tenders, and building strong client relationships.
With a profitable business, strong product-market fit, and consistent year-on-year growth, the foundations for success are already in place. The business is now looking for an experienced professional to help drive the next stage of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of a new contract catering channel.
- Identify, pursue, and secure long-term contracted catering opportunities.
- Manage the full tender and pitch process, from opportunity identification through to contract award.
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, procurement teams, and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling service and product offerings.
- Manage and develop client relationships to ensure successful delivery and ongoing growth.
- Drive commercial performance and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the business.

Objectives
- Support significant revenue growth over the next 18 months.
- Secure and deliver a minimum of three contract catering agreements in the first year.
- Establish the business as a competitive provider within the contract catering market.
- Create a sustainable pipeline of contracted opportunities and recurring revenue.
Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in contract catering sales, business development, or a related commercial role.
- Proven track record of winning contract catering tenders and securing new business.
- Experience working with consultants, procurement teams, and key stakeholders within the catering sector.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and written communication skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
