Operations Project Manager | Contract | Aerospace Electronics | OUTSIDE IR35
A global aerospace and defence electronics group needs a contract Operations Project Manager to own avionics programmes from First Article Inspection through serial production and on to end-of-life.
The Role
- Deliver in-production programmes on time, on cost and to quality
- Manage an external manufacturing partner through an active production transfer
- Drive obsolescence and supply chain risk mitigation
- Act as the customer's main contact through production and FAI acceptance
- Own KPIs and report to senior leadership

What you'll bring (essentials)
- Strong manufacturing or production project management experience
- Electronics product experience, ideally in aerospace
- Knowledge of aerospace or space standards (AS/EN9100, AS9102 FAI, ECSS)
- Full project lifecycle experience
- Solid risk management capability
- Bonus: outsourcing transfer, obsolescence management, DO-254/DO-178
