Contract Monitoring Assistant – Asbestos Team
Salary: £29,444 - £31,682
Hours: 37 hours per week (may be required to work out of hours)
Location: Office based – Tarmac Road
Job Type: Permanent
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Property Services Division for the role of Contract Monitoring Assistant.
This role sits within the Property Services Team and will primarily support the Asbestos Team. However, the successful candidate may also be required to provide support across other service areas, including Section 11 Disrepair and Damp, Mould and Condensation, as required.
This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, contractors and colleagues to help ensure the successful delivery of key property-related programmes and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the feasibility and development of projects.
- Liaise with individual customers, residents, and recognised groups in respect of their specific needs relating to the repairs, alteration, improvement, and modification work to their homes and/or regeneration of their estates and communities.
- Support Programme & Contract Managers as required to contribute to the successful delivery of the project(s).
- Provide ‘front line’ support, assistance, and advice to all who are affected by proposed and actual work undertaken on behalf of Wolverhampton Homes.
- Arrange meetings, information, and other consultation/engagement events in connection with preparation of housing.

- Are you highly organised and able to work with competing priorities?
- Can you provide high levels of customer satisfaction?
- Are you a highly effective communicator, both orally and in writing?
- Can you demonstrate high levels of I.T. including being able to produce financial Excel spreadsheets?
