Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Contract Negotiator. The Contract Negotiator will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contractual agreements with clients, vendors, and partners to support Valenta’s global operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing contract terms
  • Identifying risks
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Aligning agreements with business objectives

The role will collaborate closely with procurement, legal, finance, and project teams to:

  • Optimize contract structures
  • Manage renewals
  • Maintain accurate contract records

The Contract Negotiator will also contribute to process improvements in contract management and support the development of negotiation strategies that drive favorable commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contractual Agreements, with the ability to draft, review, and refine terms.
  • Experience in Contract Management and Procurement, including managing contract lifecycles and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills for assessing risks, pricing, and commercial implications of contractual terms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to explain complex terms clearly.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional, and international environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field; legal or contract management certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience with contract management software and proficiency in standard office productivity tools.
  • Background in consulting, technology, or professional services and familiarity with Business Process Automation is beneficial.
