Head of Product Management Advisory

Location: Edinburgh

Job Type: Contract - 2 days pw in Edinburgh & 3 days WFH

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Product Management Advisory to lead the development of product management capability across a large-scale transformation programme for a large UK bank.

Working with senior business and technology leaders, you'll drive product management maturity, embed modern product practices, and help shape a customer-centric product operating model across a complex, regulated organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Management Advisory function and develop a team of Product Management Coaches.
  • Define and embed product management frameworks, standards and best practices.
  • Coach and influence senior leaders to improve product strategy, discovery, prioritisation and value delivery.
  • Partner with Business Agility and platform leaders to align product, delivery and operating model maturity.
  • Champion customer-centric ways of working and support Product Excellence transformation.
  • Measure and demonstrate improvements in product capability and business outcomes.

About You

You'll have:

  • Extensive experience in senior Product Management or Product Leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in product strategy, discovery, operating models and customer-led product development.
  • Experience coaching executives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • A track record of driving product maturity within large, complex organisations.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
