About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer at YLD, you’ll be part of a client team building innovative products. We’re looking for someone curious, passionate, driven, and enthusiastic. You should be skilled in problem-solving and experienced in designing scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures. You’re also an effective communicator and a strong team player. Together with your team, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment, delivering outstanding results and exciting projects.

Preferred skills
- Deep Kubernetes knowledge, including the API, controllers, scheduling and networking;
- Solid experience with Golang, to the level where you can write, test and maintain a Kubernetes operator;
- Terraform, to the level where you own and review the modules that provision clusters;
- Hands-on AWS experience is mandatory; experience with other cloud providers is a plus;
- A working grasp of distributed systems: consistency models, replication, consensus and network partitions. You can reason about what happens when parts of a system disagree or can't reach each other;
- Experience in regulated or financial systems;
- Comfortable working with AI tools for most of your day, with the judgement to review their output and to adopt new technologies where they add value.
