Role: Contract Project Manager
Project: Global Credit Risk Solution
Industry: Energy Trading
Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days per week)
Contract: 6-month initial contract (multi-year programme)
Rate: £1000-1200/day (Inside IR35)
X4 Technology are partnered with a global energy trading firm delivering a major transformation of its Credit Risk function. They are implementing a fully integrated, centralised credit platform designed to transform how credit exposure, collateral, underwriting, contracts and margining are managed across regions.
They are now offering the opportunity for an experienced contract Project Manager to lead the implementation, partnering across business, technology and global credit functions to drive successful programme execution.
Responsibilities for the Credit Risk Project Manager
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the global credit risk platform implementation, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines and business outcomes
- Manage project governance, plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues across a complex global transformation
- Coordinate senior stakeholders across Credit Risk, Trading, Technology and global business functions
- Drive implementation across exposure management, collateral, underwriting, contract management and margining, including system enhancements, integrations, testing and migration
- Lead change and adoption across regional hubs, providing clear programme reporting and driving resolution of complex delivery challenges

Requirements for the Credit Risk Project Manager
- Proven experience delivering complex Credit Risk, IT or business transformation programmes, ideally within Energy, Commodities, Trading or Financial Services
- Strong understanding of credit risk processes, including exposure management, collateral, credit limits, underwriting, margining and counterparty risk
- Track record delivering large-scale, global systems implementations across multiple regions and business functions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business, technology and senior leadership teams
- Strong project delivery expertise across governance, planning, dependencies, risk and issue management, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes

6 month initial contract but multi-year scope - X4 have placed 160+ contractors with the client to date, many of whom have been extended 3-4+ years on similar global implementations.
