CONTRACT QA/QC LEAD – OFFSHORE ENERGY

Are you a contract QA/QC professional who wants to play a key role in some of the most exciting offshore energy projects in the UK and Europe?

Our client is expanding its offshore energy operations and is looking for an experienced Contract QA/QC Lead to provide quality leadership and support across major subsea and marine installation projects.

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain a QMS and complete paperwork. You'll be at the heart of project delivery, helping teams get project-ready, supplier-ready and vessel-ready, while ensuring quality, compliance and assurance requirements are properly managed from tender through to final project handover.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of key QA/QC activities across the project lifecycle, including:

  • Developing Project Quality Plans, ITPs, compliance matrices and assurance registers
  • Managing supplier and subcontractor quality requirements
  • Leading NCRs, corrective actions, root cause analysis and lessons learned
  • Supporting vessel and project readiness reviews
  • Managing quality documentation, certification and project records
  • Supporting tendering and supplier prequalification
  • Preparing for and coordinating client, supplier, vessel and internal audits
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM Code and contractual requirements
  • Supporting project teams through offshore execution and final handover
  • Helping drive continuous improvement and reduce project risk

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
