Opportunity for an Experienced Contract Recruitment Consultant
You've already built a Contract desk. What could you build if you had the platform, an established US reputation and client relationships, experienced support, and the opportunity to build a team around it?
We're looking for an experienced Contract Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist Construction recruitment business and take ownership of building a new Contract desk within an established and growing operation.
Why this opportunity?
- We're a specialist Construction recruitment business with 16 years of UK trading history and four years of established US operations, working with long-term, large corporate clients.
- Our US business is already established, our client relationships are strong, and we've proven that talented UK recruitment consultants can develop into successful US operators.
- You don't need US recruitment experience.
What you do need is the ability to build a Contract desk.
We'll provide the platform, technology, market knowledge, support and established relationships. You bring the entrepreneurial drive to turn that into a high-performing desk.
The opportunity:
- You'll have the opportunity to build a Contract desk within an established Construction market aligned to your experience and strengths.
- A genuine new-desk-building opportunity rather than being expected to bring a book of business.
- Access to established, long-term client relationships that can be developed and leveraged.
- A market-leading technology platform incorporating AI-driven innovations and recruitment support.
- Experienced leadership and a proven structure supporting you.
- The structures to develop your own market, clients and contractor relationships.
- The opportunity to build a team around your success to an agreed schedule.
- A structured development programme, beginning with an agreed 1st 90-day plan and ongoing Personal Development Plan.
- A potential pathway into management/directorship as you demonstrate the ability to build and lead.
- For the right person, the longer-term opportunity can include developing your career within our US operation, with relocation support through an approved visa structure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
