Technology Contract Recruiter – London | Individual Contributor or Team Leader
You've learned how to bill. Now it's time to be paid properly for it.
Are you an experienced contract recruiter in technology who knows how to build a desk, win clients, place contractors and generate revenue?
But perhaps you're looking at your current business and thinking: "I'm generating the revenue. Why am I not seeing more of it?"
We're working with an international technology recruitment business that is looking to attract proven contract recruiters who feel undervalued, underpaid or simply ready for a business that will recognise what they can do.
Who are we looking for?
You may have built your recruitment career across:
- Technology / IT
- Data
- ERP
- CRM
- Cloud
- Microsoft
- Software / Development
- Cybersecurity
- Infrastructure
- Other specialist technology markets
Your exact niche matters less than your ability to build and bill a contract desk.
You've already learned the trade.
You know how to develop clients.
You know how to find and manage contractors.
You know how to generate revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Now it's about finding the right platform to take that experience further.
Individual Contributor
If you're happiest running your own desk, that's absolutely fine. The opportunity is to join a business that understands the value of strong contract recruiters and is prepared to pay for proven performance.
You can focus on:
- Building your own specialist contract desk
- Developing technology clients
- Growing contractor relationships
- Increasing your earnings
- Building a specialist market
- Developing within an international business
You don't have to become a manager to progress.
If you want to become an exceptional biller and earn accordingly, there is a route for you.
Or... Team Leader?
Perhaps you're ready to build something bigger.
You may already have leadership experience, or you could be a senior biller who has never been given the opportunity to properly step into management.
There is scope to:
- Continue billing
- Build and develop a team
- Mentor and coach recruiters
- Help grow a technology contract division
- Drive new business
- Develop your leadership career
This is hands-on leadership. You'll still be expected to bill, win business and lead from the front.

What matters most?
Not your job title.
We're interested in what you've actually achieved.
If you've learned how to make contract recruitment work and have a track record of generating revenue, we want to hear from you.
Maybe you're currently somewhere that doesn't recognise your value.
Maybe you're underpaid.
Maybe you've hit the ceiling.
Or maybe you're simply ready for a business that's prepared to invest properly in someone who can deliver.
The opportunity
An international technology recruitment business with specialist markets across areas including Data, ERP, CRM, Cloud and Microsoft technologies is looking to bring proven contract recruiters on board.
