Contract Recruiter – Construction Recruitment
London | International Recruitment Business | Contract Desk
Are you an ambitious contract recruiter looking for a bigger opportunity?
Perhaps you’re already working in white-collar construction recruitment and want to take your career and earnings to the next level.
Or maybe you’ve built your recruitment career within blue-collar construction, recruiting electricians, plumbers, tradespeople or other contractors, and you’re ready to move into a higher-value market.
If you know how to build a desk, develop relationships and generate revenue from contract recruitment, we want to hear from you.
The opportunity
We’re working with a rapidly growing international recruitment business that is expanding its contract offering in London.
This is an opportunity to join a business with an established global presence while having genuine scope to build your own market, develop your client base and significantly increase your earning potential.
You’ll be responsible for developing and growing your own contract desk, working closely with both candidates and clients to create long-term relationships and deliver successful placements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
