Contract / Specification Sales Manager – South East
South East | M25 / Northern Home Counties / South of the Thames
Basic salary up to £70,000 + bonus + company car / benefits
ASR International is partnering with a highly successful and growing business to recruit a Contract / Specification Sales Manager across the South East.
This is a key appointment focused specifically on driving specification sales through regional housebuilders and developers, building long-term relationships and creating sustainable growth across an important region.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing specification-led sales across the regional housebuilder and developer market, with a particular focus on developments typically ranging from 50 to 500 plots.
This is a relationship-led, commercially focused role where you will manage several key accounts and proactively identify new developers, projects, and specification opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with regional housebuilders and developers across the South East
- Targeting residential developments typically ranging from 50–500 plots
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing key accounts
- Identifying new developments, projects and specification opportunities
- Building relationships with commercial, procurement, technical and operational teams
- Influencing specifications and converting opportunities into secured business
- Developing a strong regional pipeline and increasing market share
- Working collaboratively with internal commercial, contracts and customer service teams
- Understanding competitor activity and identifying opportunities for further growth
- Delivering excellent account management throughout the customer and project lifecycle

The Person
We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial ability with an engaging, relationship-led approach.
You may already be working within KBB, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, furniture, appliances, interiors, building materials or construction products, ideally with experience selling into housebuilders, developers or the wider specification market. Just as importantly, we are looking for the right personality.
You will be adaptable, proactive and comfortable thinking on your feet, with the ability to build credibility and strong relationships with different stakeholders. You will be passionate about what you do, commercially driven and have the hunger to grow your region rather than simply manage existing accounts.
