X4 Technology are partnered with a major energy trading organisation on a strategic programme to modernise their trading data landscape. The programme moves data from legacy on-premise platforms onto a centralised, cloud-based data exchange built on Databricks in Azure.
Key focuses are giving the business a consistent, cleansed global view of P&L and Exposure, and giving trading near real-time access to curated datasets for intra-day reporting.
There are two Scrum Master roles: one leading the migration of legacy data and data products onto the new platform, and one focused on data ingestion. Joining as Scrum Master, you'll organise and enable cross-functional teams of Data Engineers, QA specialists and Business Analysts. You'll combine hands-on Lean-Agile coaching with a solid understanding of data platforms and trading systems (Endur).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
