Contract Senior Product & Proposition SME
6-Month Contract | Wealth Proposition | Outside IR35 | Market Rate | Hybrid working
Investec is progressing a significant growth agenda within its UK Private Client franchise to deliver our ambition to scale a high-touch, advice-led proposition that combines private banking, wealth capabilities, digital access and the wider One Investec ecosystem. As part of this, the business is developing a broader UK Wealth proposition that will require robust, client-centred operational foundations across onboarding, servicing, fulfilment, controls and governance.
The role will focus on pricing, client journeys, service design, playbooks and requirements that make the proposition operationally deliverable. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced contractor with wealth management experience to shape the proposition architecture of a new UK Wealth business inside an established financial services organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across proposition, operations, platforms and governance, helping define the client experience, commercial structure and business requirements needed to support launch.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
