Role Description

The Contract Services Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rugby, responsible for overseeing the delivery and performance of cleaning and facilities management contracts. This position manages day-to-day contract operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, compliance with service standards, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. The role involves maintaining strong client relationships, handling service queries, conducting site visits, and ensuring that bespoke service packages are delivered efficiently and consistently. The Contract Services Manager will monitor contract performance, address issues proactively, support procurement of services and supplies, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes. The role requires regular reporting on contract metrics, cost control, and service quality, while promoting a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.

  • Candidates should possess strong contract management and contract negotiation skills to oversee agreements and ensure value and compliance.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret performance data, optimize operations, and support decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess customer service skills to build and maintain positive client relationships and respond effectively to service needs.
  • Candidates should possess procurement skills to manage purchasing of services and supplies in line with quality and cost objectives.
  • Relevant experience in facilities management, cleaning services, or related industries is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Experience leading or coordinating teams, with a collaborative, inclusive management style.
  • Proficiency in common office software and basic reporting tools; familiarity with service management systems is an advantage.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel between client sites as required.
