Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer opportunity
Day Rate: Up to £425 per day (Outside IR35)
Expected duration: 12 months
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Remote first but office presence will be required in either Manchester or London approximately twice per month
The Opportunity
We're looking for experienced Full-Stack TypeScript Engineers to join a long-term 12-month contract, working within a collaborative, cross-functional Agile delivery team.
You'll be working across both frontend and backend development, using TypeScript and Node.js to build, enhance and maintain modern digital services.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong communication skills and is comfortable working closely with product, delivery and technical stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining full-stack applications
- Working across both frontend and backend development
- Designing, building and delivering scalable, maintainable software
- Collaborating with product, design, delivery and engineering teams
- Contributing to technical discussions, code reviews and architectural decisions
- Writing clean, well-tested and maintainable code
- Working within an Agile, cross-functional delivery environment
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience as a Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer
- Experience working across both frontend and backend development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working within Agile, cross-functional teams
- A strong understanding of modern software development practices
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience working within the public sector
- Experience delivering services in line with GDS standards

- Stage 1: 45-minute technical discussion
