Contract Full Stack Engineer | Vue.js/Java | iGaming | Up to £500/day | Outside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a product-focused engineering team, working on scalable, cloud-based applications within the iGaming industry.
The role will have a strong Java backend focus, alongside hands-on development with Vue.js on the frontend. You'll work across the full stack, contributing to new features, existing platforms and technical improvements within a modern agile engineering environment.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining Java applications, microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Building responsive and maintainable frontend applications using Vue.js.
- Working across the full technology stack, from frontend user interfaces through to backend services and databases.
- Developing scalable, resilient and high-performing applications.
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
- Collaborating with engineers, product and other stakeholders to deliver new features.
- Contributing to technical discussions, architecture and continuous improvement.
- Working within an agile environment to deliver software iteratively.

What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with Java.
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience working within agile engineering teams.
- Good understanding of software development, testing and code quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience within iGaming, gambling or online gaming environments.
