About the Team
This position is part of the LNRS Insurance Contracts Team, which operates within Operations. The team works closely with Sales, Legal, Product, and Analytics to make sure deals are accurately captured, approved, and documented. They’re responsible for drafting contracts based on the agreed commercials and terms, and they diligently track any non-standard provisions. It’s always busy, with a wide range of internal stakeholders involved, so collaboration and attention to detail are key.
About the Role
The Commercial Contracts Executive position will provide contract support to the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Insurance business. The role will work as part of the Operations team to ensure compliance with commercial contract terms and conditions. The role holder will collaborate closely with the Legal team to providing credible and trustworthy guidance to the business.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic commercial advice and interpret contractual requirements.
- Draft, review, and prepare standard contract documents (Orders, Amendments, Schedules, SLAs, Appendices), including approved term modifications.
- Manage customer queries and pushbacks, escalating to Legal or stakeholders where required.
- Attend internal governance forums (e.g. Deal Review Board) and maintain accurate records and decision tracking.
- Ensure effective use of contract governance tools (e.g. DocuSign, approval forms, trackers, reporting) to support timely execution.
- Maintain oversight of shared legal inboxes, contract storage, and indexing processes.
- Supervise and support junior contract administration, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks.
- Support legal and business teams by managing process mapping, regulatory/customer enquiries, and biannual contract template updates.
Experience Required
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications / work experience;
- Prior experience of working within a busy commercial contracts or legal function
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload and competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment with progressive adaptations as the business grows at pace;
- Performs well in a high-pressure environment, balancing those competing priorities with strong commitment to delivering results
- Proven success interacting, influencing and working with multiple functional areas; both internal and external;
- Has built successful working relationships; demonstrated expertise, commitment, and follow-through;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Confluence, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
