Responsibilities
Position Overview
Join our aerospace team as a Contracts Specialist and play a key role in supporting the delivery of complex, high-performance products and systems. In this role, you will administer and manage contracts to ensure contractual, financial, and performance obligations are met, while partnering closely with customers and internal teams.
You’ll support proposal development, review requirements, monitor contract performance, negotiate pricing and terms, and help ensure compliance throughout the contract lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative aerospace programs and support mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administers specialised and/or major contracts by analysing performance requirements and customer purchase order requirements including those issued against Basic Contract Agreements and/or Long-Term Agreements. Analysis includes performance to delivery schedules, pricing terms and conditions and other contract provisions.
- Determines technically and commercially compliant proposal packages of diverse scope and complexity for major customers in response to customer and contract requirements. Evaluates performance requirements, delivery schedules and estimates of cost of material, equipment and labour hours.
- Initiates bid processes by identifying requirements and coordinating input from other functions. Develops responses to requests for proposal (RFP) of difficult scope.
- Negotiates complex contract requirements in accordance with legal and company regulations and policies. Negotiates price, terms and conditions, deliveries and other business issues within scope of responsibility.
- Investigates and resolves claims or complaints by collecting and analysing information.
- Acts as point of contact with customer on assigned contracts and participates in customer presentations.

Essential skills and experience you’ll need to be considered for this position
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience of 6+ years in contracts
- Thorough knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations and policies.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract administration, government procurement and export compliance if applicable.
- Ability to read, analyse and interpret policies and contracts and recommended changes to procedures.
- Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials and services.

Ideally, you’ll also have
- Relevant Contract Management certification.
