Company Description
We are looking to recruit an organised and commercially minded Contract Support Administrator to join our Field Engineering Services team in Glasgow.

Contract Support Administrator – Glasgow
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and Excel skills who enjoys working with financial information, contracts and project data, and wants to play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of our customer contracts.
What you will do
As a Contract Support Administrator, you will provide key commercial, financial and administrative support to our Field Engineering Services and Operations teams.
You will help ensure that contracts are managed efficiently and accurately, supporting the team with budgets, forecasts, invoicing, procurement, reporting and contract administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Field Engineering Services and Operations Managers with the effective commercial administration of customer contracts
- Creating, maintaining and updating project budgets, forecasts and financial information within SAP
- Monitoring project costs, revenue, margins and variances, providing accurate information to support commercial decision-making
- Reviewing project ledgers and working with Managers to maximise contract recovery and ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed costs and margins
- Supporting invoicing and payment processes, including SAP invoice generation and credit control
- Identifying opportunities to improve cash flow and financial recovery
- Maintaining accurate project, contract and regional records
- Supporting procurement and the commercial management of suppliers, including enquiries, purchase orders, change control and supplier payment certification
- Regularly reviewing project performance with the management team and ensuring SAP data remains accurate and up to date
- Supporting the management of Work in Progress (WIP) and helping to ensure financial information is maintained accurately
- Maintaining an accurate regional contract register
- Providing timely reports, data and commercial information to Managers as required

Profile
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and comfortable working with numbers, data and financial information.
You'll ideally have:
- GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths (Grade 5 or above)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with contracts, project administration or commercial information
- An understanding of contractual terms and conditions
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience using SAP or a similar financial/project management system
- Experience working with NEC contracts
- Knowledge or experience of Field Engineering Services or a similar technical services environment
