Job Description
Contract Support Administrator – Glasgow
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and Excel skills who enjoys working with financial information, contracts, and project data.
You don’t need to be an experienced commercial professional for this role. We’re looking for someone who is organised, accurate, and confident working with numbers and systems, with an interest in developing their knowledge of contracts, finance, and project administration.
You’ll work closely with our Field Engineering Services and Operations teams, providing day-to-day administrative and financial support and helping to ensure our customer contracts and project information are kept accurate and up to date.
What you will do
As a Contract Support Administrator, you will support our Field Engineering Services and Operations Managers with the administration of customer contracts and projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to Field Engineering Services and Operations Managers
- Helping to maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial information within SAP
- Updating and checking project costs, revenue, margins, and variances, highlighting any information that may need further review
- Supporting Managers with the monitoring of project costs and financial performance
- Assisting with invoicing and payment processes, including generating invoices through SAP
- Helping to keep project, contract, and regional records accurate and up to date
- Supporting procurement activities, including supplier enquiries, purchase orders, and changes to orders
- Assisting with supplier administration and payment certification
- Helping to ensure SAP information is accurate and updated regularly
- Supporting the team with the monitoring and administration of Work in Progress (WIP)
- Maintaining an accurate regional contract register
- Preparing reports, data, and other information for Managers as required
- Working with colleagues across the business to resolve queries and ensure information is recorded correctly
- Looking for opportunities to improve administration processes and make information easier to manage and understand

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
