A Career in Facilities Management with a Clear Route into Account Management
Are you already working in Facilities Management, contract support, service coordination, engineering administration or a technical helpdesk and looking for a role where you can genuinely progress?
We’re working with a successful and rapidly growing Facilities Management and HVAC business that is expanding its operation and now looking to appoint a Contract Support Coordinator to join their existing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating tasks, solving problems and keeping things moving and wants to develop their career within Facilities Management.
You’ll work at the heart of the operation, supporting the delivery of a portfolio of contracts and acting as a key link between clients, engineers, subcontractors and Account Managers.
But this isn’t intended to be a role where you simply coordinate jobs indefinitely.
The business is actively looking to develop talent from within and for the right person there is a genuine and accelerated opportunity to progress into an Account Manager position, taking ownership of client relationships and contracts as your experience develops.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across FM contracts.
- Schedule engineers, allocate jobs and manage daily workloads.
- Run the FM helpdesk, logging, prioritising and progressing jobs.
- Coordinate PPM schedules and ensure SLAs are met.
- Liaise with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
- Chase outstanding works and drive jobs through to completion.
- Provide day to day contract support to Account Managers.
- Monitor KPIs, job progress and service performance.
- Manage job sheets, service reports and contract documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractors and third party suppliers.
- Assist with quotes, purchase orders, invoicing and contract administration.
- Maintain accurate contract, asset and job records.
- Resolve issues proactively and keep clients updated.
- Build strong knowledge of contracts, assets and service requirements.
- Work alongside Account Managers, gaining exposure to the wider contract management function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
