We are currently looking for technical authors
We are currently looking for technical authors to join our team as contractors. We have a number of projects coming up for which site visits will be required, and so ideally we are looking for someone based in London, Birmingham, Bristol, or Cardiff.
What you will be doing:
- Writing standard operating procedures, user manuals, installation guides, maintenance instructions, datasheets, and product papers
- Writing content for technical brochures
- Gathering information from engineers, CAD models, and SMEs
- Producing structured, compliant, easy-to-use documentation
- Working with illustrators and translators to deliver complete document sets

Essentials:
- Technical Authoring experience in engineering / industrial machinery / manufacturing / software development / defence
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, CAD exports, and technical data
- Strong skills in structured writing, safety content, and technical communication
- Advanced in using Word to create technical documentation
