Job Summary

This role suits someone with a strong business focus who thrives in cross-functional teams, balancing commercial judgement with structured contract governance across a defined Business Unit or cluster of Business Units.

Contract and Bid Management

  • Lead the commercial workstream for RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, coordinating input from Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and renewals under Legal Counsel supervision.
  • Coordinate pricing inputs, align with financial models and margin targets, and support the submission of compliant, competitive proposals.
  • Negotiate terms and coordinate approvals for bonds, guarantees, and other tender requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the main point of contact for Legal, Sales, Finance, and Delivery on contracts and bids.
  • Prepare management briefings, contract materials, and risk assessments.
  • Clarify responsibilities, commercial guidelines, and escalation routes across departments.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of relevant legislative or contract changes.

Process and Governance

  • Ensure all bids follow internal approval workflows and financial governance requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of contract and tender repositories, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, pricing tools, and contracting playbooks.
  • Provide early warning of potential issues and escalate as needed.
