CONTRACTOR EHS Staffing

  • The CONTRACTOR EHS Manager must be onsite before the work begins and timing will be dependent on complexity and risk profile. This allows time for mobilization and site assessment to ensure compliance with contract requirements, including risk assessments and EHS plans.
  • The Site EHS Professional/Manager shall have the following experience and training or local equivalent:
    • A minimum of 10 years of construction safety management experience in addition to relevant experience
    • Formal territorial construction industry training (e.g., Occupational Safety and Health Administration [OSHA], CSCA, VCA, National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health [NEBOSH]).
    • Management training
    • Incident investigation training
    • Degree and an advanced professional certification is preferred or demonstrated experience.
